What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For this policy, confidentiality relates to the transmission of confidential information about individuals or organisations, which comes into our possession through its professional work.
Our Experts hold personal data about Clients which will only be used for the purposes for which it was obtained and will never be disclosed to any other individual or organisation without prior permission from the instructing solicitor unless our Experts are obliged to do so by a Court Order.
All personal data will be handled and managed sensitively and in the strictest confidence. Our experts are:
- A registered medical practitioner governed by the General Medical Council and the mandates of Good Medical Practice.
- All personal paper-based and electronic data are stored in accordance with GDPR. We will securely destroy paper records when no longer required, or they can be returned to instructing parties on request (at the instructing solicitor’s expense). All physical records are kept in locked premises. All electronic records are password protected.
